Dr. Kieran Slevin is a distinguished interventional spine specialist and visionary physician renowned for his exceptional contributions to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware healthcare. As the co-founder and CEO of a leading multi-specialty healthcare practice, he has dedicated his career to providing top-notch medical services. With board certifications in anesthesiology and pain medicine, he possesses a wealth of expertise in his field. His professional affiliations include membership in esteemed organizations such as the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Medical Society of New Jersey, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Spine Intervention Society.
In addition to his medical pursuits, Dr. Kieran actively supports charitable causes close to his heart. Beyond his professional endeavors, he nurtures personal interests that enrich his life. Dr. Kieran’s academic journey commenced at the prestigious University College Dublin, Ireland, where he earned his medical degree. After graduation, he pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. During his time there from 2000 to 2006, he completed a residency in Anesthesiology & Critical Care, as well as a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine. He also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care, where he actively shaped the medical landscape and mentored future medical professionals. His leadership abilities were acknowledged during his tenure at Penn when he was elected to the Penn Senate Faculty Executive Committee and University Council.
Dr. Slevin’s invaluable contributions included advising university leaders on faculty intellectual property ownership, environmental sustainability initiatives, and navigating the university endowment during the financial crisis 2008. He holds a pivotal role as the founder and CEO of North American Spine and Pain, a prominent healthcare organization established in 2014. With a dedicated team of over 120 staff members across three states, the organization offers specialized care to more than 150,000 patients annually.
